Are there any firm size restrictions?
Yes, we are primarily interested in firms of ten (10) or more attorneys. However, we will entertain smaller firms if we believe the smaller firm is a good facility fit. (please call)

We have capacity to provide limits up to $10,000,000.

Can excess be provided?
Depending on the underlying carrier, terms and limits, we can provide excess limits over another A rated carrier.

Do you require your own application?
Although we would prefer our own Lloyd's application, we could provide you with an indication subject to a completed Lloyd's application. A Lloyd's application will certainly be required prior to binding coverage and will help present your client/prospect in the most complete and favorable light.

Is the program admitted?
The program is admitted in Illinois and Kentucky. In all other states the program is on an excess and surplus lines basis. Therefore you must be a licensed excess and surplus lines broker to use this facility. Jamison Special Risk, Inc. will not assume this responsibility and will rely on you to comply with the excess and surplus lines laws in your state.

Are there any type firms you will not consider under your facility?
Yes, there are two types. Firms primarily engaged in negligence plaintiffs work and distressed type business. However, if you would like us to approach the London open market on your behalf, we can do this for you. This would be handled on a case by case basis.

We have dealt with Lloyd's before and found the response time can be poor. What makes your facility different?
We are facility managers. We have underwriting and policy issuing authority on behalf of the underwriters who participate on our line slip. Therefore, you will receive a degree of service which you will find meets today's busy demands on your time.
